Joliette.be begon op 7 september 2009. Oorspronkelijk als ‘beauty blog voor Belgische beauties on a budget‘, een weblog van een aan cosmetica verslaafde Antwerpse studente. Enkele jaren later was er de eerste job. Hallo luxe!
Vandaag is Joliette moeilijk in een hokje te forceren. Beauty blog? Mogelijk. Make-up, skincare, véél haarproducten en parfums … Maar ook schoenen, handtassen, te veel iPhone hoesjes – wacht, kuchte er iemand ‘cliché’? – en andere girly shizzle vormen de fertiele inspiratie bodem voor semi-dagelijkse 100% persoonlijke blogposts.
Joliette.be was launched in 2009 – September 7th, if you want to send my baby a Bday card – as a ‘blog for Belgian beauties on a budget‘. Back then I was a student with more time than money and an unhealthy obsession with comestics. A few years later there was the first job … too little time but héllo money! Luxury cosmetics were within reach, so were a sea of shoes, bags, clutches, iPhone cases (#ADDICTION) annnddd well, that’s where the nouveau Joliette kicks in. Always 100% personal – what else is the very point of blogging, anyway?!
